About Me
My name is Angie Fritzler, or as you will hear from the children, "Mrs. Fritzler."
I got married June 2016 to my wonderful husband and college sweetheart, Nick. We have a rescue blue heeler/black lab mix puppy named "Genesis" (or "Nessie"). She's a sweetheart and a smart girl, but can be very goofy too!
I have a 2.5 year old daughter, Penelope, and 3 month old son, Kaladin.
I graduated from Oregon State University in 2013 with a double Bachelor's degree in Family Sciences/Child Development and Elementary Education, with an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) endorsement.
I graduated from Western Oregon University in 2019 with a Masters in Education and Reading endorsement.
During my undergraduate studies, I participated in the OSU Marching Band (flute!), worked as an Academic Coach, did undergraduate research on Kindergarten readiness, and became a member of Phi Kappa Phi, a national honor society.
"Let the love of learning rule humanity"
When I am not in the classroom, I love to run, hike, dance, play music (flute, ukulele), scrapbook, go to the coast, take P to the park, do family events, and think of other fun activities to do with my students! A teacher's brain never turns off :)
Now and then, I teach Cardio Dance at Physiq Albany!

This is my 9th year teaching at Pioneer School, and I am beyond excited to share in your child's journey with Kindergarten, both within and beyond the classroom. I have previously taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, preschool, worked in a K-5 after school program, and substituted in K-4th grade classrooms in the Beaverton School District. I am honored to be able to set sail on a new adventure with your child, and I look forward to navigating the school year with you!
